HOW TO FORMAT YOUR NOKIA SYMBIAN {S60} PHONES

if you are using nokia symbian phone and you encounter any of the problem below:

YOU need to format it,in order to prevent it from been damaged.

PROBLEMS

1.phone only able to boot-up to "NOKIA" Word screen

2.error message keeps popping up.

3.unable to read message on your phone or open any icon.

4.installed application/programs,not able to uninstall.

5.blank screen phone unable to boot.

Steps for formatting:-

FOR SYMBIAN S60 & S60V2

1.Make sure you have at least 3 bar of battery on your phone.

2.backup your files to memory e.g.contacts,music,images.

3.switch off the phone.

4.press and hold down on keypad

[*] star key +

number [3] key +

green [send] key

together with the ON/OFF[POWER] Key.

Untill phone fully boots.

Note:these method is known as full/strong formatting.

FOR SYMBIAN S60V5

example:nokia 5230, 5800 xpressmusic,x6,c7 and other touch screen.

1.charge your battery

2.turn off the phone

3.press and hold down the [green]+[Red]+[camera]keys. + power[ON] button.

Until phone fully boot in few minutes and then the phone will return to the original state.

Note:these trick is called 3 finger salute for full hard reset.
